The winter landscape of the Rocky Mountains in southwest Colorado transforms into a serene and captivating scene when blanketed with snow. On windless days, Ponderosa pines take on a soft, puffy appearance as light snow accumulates on branch tips. The absence of vibrant colors in winter allows for a new perspective, inspiring the portrayal of scenes with limited color to highlight the mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. Waterfalls turn into enchanting crystalline ice sculptures. Some of these images are available in the Print Shop.
